What Customers Say About Us

At Wood Services, after each season, we give a survey to all the parents of the participants.  We use the survey to help improve our services.  The graph shows the survey results from the summer of 2025.   This average reflects a current result of 62 surveys.

Quality Rating:

5= Outstanding
4= Good
3= Average
2= Below Average
1= Poor.

The overall score averages a teaching score, an interest score, a learning score and the value for the money.  The teaching score represents the quality of teachers in our organization.  This is our greatest strength.  We have a blend of chess experts and certified teachers trained to teach beginners.  The interest score is generated from the feedback of students and parents.  Participants generally look forward to club activities and make the club a priority over other activities.  The amount of learning growth is measured through pre and post assessments and USCF rating increases.  The cost score compares our programs to those of equal academic goals and objectives.  Our cost is reasonable for our quality of instruction and activity variety.
