The northeast United States contains many of the urban centers in the United States.  There are many attractions in New York, Pennsylvania, and Massachusetts.  However, the northern areas of Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont are very rural and isolated areas.  The sites shown are the major highlights of the attractions in each state.
