Atlantic Canada is composed of five islands in the North Atlantic Ocean.   It includes Labrador, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, and Newfoundland.  Newfoundland and Labrador have the highest average amount of snow and the lowest temperature in the region.  They get an average of 118 inches of snow where the temperature can drop to -31 degrees Fahrenheit.
