This area of Central America is very warm and tropical. This area is known for rich culture and beautiful beaches.  There are problems in some areas because of numerous conflicts and crime.

Honduras currently has a level three travel advisory.  Travel is not recommended due to high crime.  El Salvador is now considered safe.
