Southeast Alaska is a unique region of Alaska.  It is made up of islands and peninsulas along the Pacific coast.  It is warmer than most of the other areas of Alaska because of the ocean influence.  Most of the area is only accessible by air and is an isolated area where the only access is through Canada.
