The British Isles is composed of the five counties of England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Northern Ireland as well as some smaller islands.
All these countries have similar characteristics but do have individual differences. Be aware that the British Isles are not the same as Great Britain or the United Kingdom. Great Britain is composed of England, Scotland, and Wales. The United Kingdom is composed of Great Britain and only Northern Ireland. These counties are English speaking counties rich in history. In all countries, autos drive on the left side of the road. The Pound Sterling is still used in all areas of the United Kingdom. The Euro is the money used in Ireland. There is some snow in Scotland, northern England, and Wales, but not much in southern England and Ireland.
